DELAYING KICK OFF TO GET GAMES PLAYED |
|
The Fixture Secretary Tony Good has stressed once again that clubs and referees should delay kick-off until 11 o'clock or later if possible in order to get games played when there are frozen conditions early on.
Today was a perfect example where only four games were played but in each case it was because kick-off was delayed. Three of them kicked off just after 11:00am while the game between Quantock Pride and Blake commenced at 12:30pm.
It would be appreciated if all clubs and referees could show the same flexible approach when it comes to the getting their matches played in order to avoid potential congestion with many midweek evening fixtures at the season's end.
